Dressing like a girl for LFW
London Fashion Week is back again and it only feels like yesterday since the last season!
I'm not a massive fan of hanging around the streets of Soho hoping to be street styled or trying to worm my way into my favourite shows only to be squished at the back cursing at why I wore these crappy heels.
Instead, I prefer to spend my fashion week catching up with some blogger pals, making new ones and being a little adventurous in the way I dress.
My usual style would definitely be described as androgynous, opting for oversized clothes, trainers and shopping a lot from the boys section. But, I am a massive fan of pastel colours, especially pink.
So this fashion week I thought sod it, I'm going to dress as a marshmallow. I found the perfect wide pink trousers from ASOS that just so happen to match my pink coat from ASOS last year. Paired with a simple white shirt from Uniqlo, I created the ultimate two-piece suit.
The Apartment (created by the wonderful AbiMarvel) is back and even better this season so I spent the majority of day one utilising the extensive set-up they have and meeting some beautiful fashion folk.
As always they have a mini wardrobe in which you can loan items for fashion week. This season they are showcasing one of my favourite jewellery brands ever, Astley Clarke. I opted to loan the most delicate of pins that I've been eyeing up for a very long time; they were the perfect accompaniment to my pink lapel.
The extremely talented boys from Comb App gave us a mini presentation and demo yesterday morning and were on hand to take some incredible outfit shots. I'm a pretty nervous person when it comes to taking outfit pictures but the boys made me feel so comfortable and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Be sure to check out the Comb app and also Mo's Instagram for some of the most insane photography I've seen in a very long time.
