Autumn and Winter are the most perfect seasons to buy candles.
There's nothing I enjoy more than stocking up on some new warming scented candles to fill my rooms with.
I have a roundup of the best ones I've come across this year below. Let me know if you've used any before or plan on making a purchase!!
The crème de la crème of Christmas candles in my eyes. If you can only purchase one candle this season then let it be this. As soon as you open the box you are filled with the sweet scent of cinnamon, oranges and Christmassy spices. The scent is by no means overpowering but also isn't weak like a lot of other candles.
In true White Company style, the packaging is pretty minimal and is a great addition to make your home that extra bit more luxurious. If there is one scent I could have for the rest of my life, it would be this.
Named perfectly for Christmas and scented with frankincense, gold and myrhh. (and a little bit of brandy).
La Montana is a new brand to me but just as delightful nonetheless. This little one boasts 40 hours of burn time and really smells almost Church-like. It has those deep woody smells but hints of sweetness coming through. I can bet this will be a favourite for those who don't buy into the 'big brands'.
Etta French is most commonly known for their exquisite jewellery.
But on this occasion, they've decided to make some wonderful candles and they've done it very well.
This nutmeg, cinnamon and orange candle really takes you to those Christmas markets cuddling a nice warm cup of mulled wine - But just because they're candles doesn't mean this beautiful brand will stray from jewellery. Oh no, to top off the incredible scents, there is a hidden surprise piece of jewellery inside each of their candles. I'm yet to reach mine but I am SO excited to!!
The Jo Malone packaging is by far my favourite. This candle arrived in the most beautiful Jo Malone box equipped with matches and finished off with a perfect Christmas bow.
It's a real luxury candle from start to finish.
If you're looking for that perfect gift for someone then this should definitely be top of your list.
This candle will burn for approximately 45 hours and scent your room with tones of pomegranate, plum, raspberry, lily and spicy woods.
And that concludes my top pick for candles this Winter. Whilst there are so many out there, Christmas is the best time splurge and surround yourself with luxury. I believe that all four of these candles tick the boxes.
