Part of the final day of London Collections: Men, Oliver Spencer’s AW14 collection showed his passion for blending styles. The collection was largely made up of unstructured tailoring synonymous with Oliver Spencer’s style but this season the designer made it his own by focusing on city/country contrasts. The collection was made up of mottled tweeds and rainproof nylons in charcoal, navy and forest green. Throughout the collection were scattered pieces like floral-print bombers; orange and red trousers shoes and beanies.
The collection is said to have been influenced by “Purism, architecture and London’s ever-evolving subcultures”. Oliver Spencer’s key pieces include the Shawl Collar Donegal Jacket, Lightweight Nylon Mac, Judo Pants and the Caramel Epson Coat.
