LCM: Topman design
If there is one show everyone has their eye on, it’s Topman. And to be honest, this show proved why.
The designs were dark and mysterious, beautifully structured and extremely wearable. The show featured big knits heavily, with proof that the roll neck is here to stay for another year, as well as long black reefer and leather patched rain coats.
The show made a splash (excuse the pun) with the use of indoor rain, and as a result all the models looked that extra bit weathered.
A few of the suits were lighter in colour, almost channelling a Great Gatsby vibe.
Wider trousers were also a feature during the show, possibly signalling the end of the extreme skinny jean.
Our favourite pieces have to be the large knits featured, exactly the type of jumper you’d want to steal from your boyfriend, managing to look amazingly on trend as well as incredibly comfy.
Although darker colours appeared to be the main focus, with black and dark navies being the main colour themes, the occasional splash of colour also appeared such as orange.
