Miles Aldridge for Ginza has managed to encompass numerous key trends this season in one effortless line of t-shirts.  Clashing colours, pin up style ‘house wife’ imagery and classic shapes make this the perfect statement t-shirt. They’re not dis-similar to the statement sweaters we’ve seen from the likes of Givenchy and House of Holland this season, and appear to be the perfect transition of this trend through to the warmer months.

The photos depict a beautiful blonde woman looking like she’s stepped straight out of a fifties cooking catalogue, fully equipped with perfectly quaffed hair and impeccable make up. The t-shirts come from Aldridge’s first line for GINZA, and it’s fair to say he’s started off with a bang. They’re classic of the photographers previous work and the t-shirts seamlessly intertwine fashion and Art.

The model in the ‘I only want you to love me’ series is actually Aldridge’s sister, and all the photos have been taken using film, insuring the retro aspect of the images are seamless. The apparent typical domestic settings and acts taking place are juxstaposed by the chaotic and slightly off kilter nature of the photos in true Aldridge style.

If you decide to purchase one of these limited edition t shirts, they’ll set you back somewhere in the range of £60 to £70, but seeing as all T shirts are made in Italy using ‘the finest Turkish cotton’, it does seem worth it. They even come wrapped in silk tissue!

I'm personally desperate to get my hands on one!
