In the cobbled streets of Covent Garden hid a pretty little store, decorated with ethereal trees and dotted with pops of bright flowers; a team of Toni & Guy stylists in the corner and of course, two floors stacked with beautiful clothes! POP PR’s press day was filled with a variety of designs each unique and incredibly gorgeous.
Nova Chiu's Symbolic Reverse collection was designed from the point of view of a 1960’s designer creating garments for 2014. Featuring an exciting mix of new and classic fabrics in vivid colours and geometric shapes, every frock and frill screams futuristic flower power. Inspired by high tea parties and American chic, Ziad Ghanem’s quintessentially 1950s collection ALICE, elegantly lined the shop window with rich ball gowns and cocktails dresses nipped tight at the waist and accentuated at the hips.
And for all the jewellery lovers? Virtue London’s keepsake lockets featured a variety of interchangeable disc inserts made of dazzling cubic zirconia’s and iridescent mother of pearl, to customise and create into an infinite number of unique necklaces and bracelets. Whilst Julia Clancey’s Great Gatsby-esque line, employs a classic palette of black, white and silver in art deco style swarovski crystals. From the ornate couture dresses of Francesca Marotta to Sorapol’s experimental nylon pieces, each collection was pure eye candy!
