Mademoiselle C DVD release
Everyone in fashion has their idols; From the designers who created the industry we lust after today, the models who show off extraordinary garments, the writers who capture the industry’s movements so elegantly, and of course, to the fashion editors who capture our hearts each and every month.
In the past we have seen silver screen portrayals of the likes of Coco Chanel, documentaries of the elusive September Issue; following American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and incredible film biographies of fashion legends such as Bill Cunningham. This October sees the turn of the French, and more precisely, that of Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld.
Mademoiselle C follows Carine from Paris to New York city, sharing her fashion encounters with the world. Featuring the likes of Tom Ford and Karl Lagerfeld, the film aims to explore Carine’s life as she prepares to launch her own publication amid fierce rivalries and loyalties tested to the maximum.
This film is another chance to peer behind the scenes of the world’s most competitive industry, offering viewers an exclusive glimpse into this luxurious world filled with culture and travel. Unlike other fashion films, Mademoiselle C is set to explore the very private world of a woman with more than thirty years devoted to the fashion industry.
Released on DVD on October 28th, this is a must see for any budding fashion writers and editors, and anyone who wants an exclusive look at the illusive industry.
