LFW: Sophia Webster SS14

There was no question as to the theme of Sophia Webster’s latest collection presentation at London Fashion Week. With each model posing in a miniature garden filled with flowers, hair styled to look like an insects antenna, and the words ‘BUG LIFE’ written across one models stomach, the theme of insects, nature and influences from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland were dominant.

Elegantly embellished with tiny poppies, stiletto heels were teamed with crisp white socks to add to the playful atmosphere surrounding the collection. Strappy heeled sandals were a firm favourite style of the collection, and were perfectly teamed with contrast spot t-shits and cheeky facial expressions worn by the models.

Bringing clear, coloured plastic back to the wish lists of all in fashion, Websters black and turquoise strappy sandals are set to be a spring favourite, with a guarantee of making every outfit fun, fashionable, but still elegant.

When not worn by the models, Websters creation sat nestled amongst flowers that complimented their colour, and were surrounded by delicate leaves, petals and butterflies. Through the intricate detailing and patterns of each pair of shoes, the footwear almost blended in completely.

A stunning collection for those wanting to add a hint of girlie glam to their SS14 shoe cupboard.
