LFW: PPQ SS14
Colour colour colour! PPQ’s show was an explosion of bright colour palettes just like those seen in their Autumn/Winter 2013 clothing collection. The only variation being that they ditched the coats and jackets and replaced them with dresses and bralets. Designers Amy and Percy who spearhead the fashion house PPQ have displayed a more than worthy show for the first day slot at London Fashion Week. From floral print to brightly coloured prom dresses, the highly charged selection of looks made for perfect viewing as they perfectly encapsulated the season of Spring/Summer with an electric feel. Crowds were kept enticed from look to look. Co-ordinates, colour block jumpsuits, hi-lo hem dresses and ruffle hem skirts.
Although floral print played a key role at the beginning of the show, gingham and polka dot print slowly took over with the welcome additions of a prom dress and a thin strap maxi dress. As the show was ending, there was a swift change in the movement of the collection with the appearance of three white dresses.
