NYFW: BCBGMAXAZRIA SS14 Report
French fashion designer Max Azria wowed crowds with the BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2014 Ready-to-wear line. The global fashion house delivered exactly what Fashion week enthusiasts long to see; style and grace. It was all about the dark florals, open backs, Asymetric hemlines, long shirttails and slouchy pockets this season for BCBGMAXAZRIA.
The Spring 2014 collection has captured the true essence of the warm, relaxing season as a mix of white and pastel blue outfits opened the show with mesh insert hemlines and strategically placed floral contributions. But the floral theme stepped up entirely when an array of shirt dresses, A-line Maxi dresses and open back shirts came on to the scene combined with top handle and clutch bags with heeled sandals.
There was a swift change in direction when sheer snakeskin prints came out from behind the scenes and swept the floor in elegant free flowing dresses, watercolour printed silks and an absolutely amazing dress and jacket combination. It was like stepping in to a fashion fantasy for a once in a lifetime experience. Unstructured relaxed shapes, which seem to be dominating this seasons clothing so far, has not gone unnoticed in the BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2014 line.
