Luxury French fashion label, Moncler and my favourite man of all time, Pharrell Williams have teamed up again. The three-time Grammy Award winner previously worked with Moncler back in 2009 when he designed a line of jackets, but this time he’s back to design an exclusive range of men and women’s sunglasses. It has also been confirmed that Pharrell will be modelling his range for the advertising campaign - as he previously did with the other collections.
WWD state that the creations are made from a single piece of titanium and that the unisex pair takes influence from an oversized mask. They are designed to have thick sides and a lightweight front, boasting flexibility and resistance. Moncler describes them as: "halfway between futurism and Fifties Style."
Chairman and chief executive officer, Remo Ruffini, showed his appreciation and respect for the Get Lucky star, telling WWD: “He represents the very best of all that is contemporary, creative and international, the same characteristics that underpin the entire Moncler project and the Moncler Lunettes collection.”
The collection 'Moncler Lunettes' is set to be revealed in Paris at the end of September and will mark the opening of the new Moncler flagship store.
