A.P.C A/W13 Collection via MenswearStyle
During Paris Fashion Week, A.P.C presented their new men’s Fall/Winter 2013 Collection. Since the brand was found in 1987, A.P.C have continually produced timeless, versatile pieces with a simple colour palette and this collection didn’t differ.
What caught my eye the most was the selection of outerwear. The bomber jacket has been a massive staple item in every mans closet since 50s Hollywood heartthrob, James Dean graced our screens in that eye-catching red number. A.P.C are no different and rework the bomber jacket season after season. This collection gives us their classic bomber jacket, with an elasticated waistband and cord collar or you could opt for the collarless style that shows attention to detail with pockets on the arms and fine stitching all around.
Furthermore, the dapper gent could be seen this fall in a heather grey balamacaan style coat covering a matching navy suit and equally beautiful knitwear to keep warm on those cold evenings.
Either way, A.P.C have excelled their men's collection this season and stick to their autumnal dark, muted colours with splashes of light here and there, such as the burgundy denim jacket, worn over simple dark knitwear and shirts. Simplicity is key for A.P.C and they have modern effortless style down to a tee.
