Designer focus: Yoji Yamamoto

Yamamoto has a huge following and gained many of his younger clients (who wouldn't usually have interest in his clothes) from his collaboration with Adidas in 2003. Adidas and Yamamoto created the brand Y3 which showcases couture sportswear.
S/S13 included Yamamoto's signature looks such as asymmetry and androgyny . His unusual shapes and proportions combined with bold colours and cropped garments shocked the crowd.
